Chaldon Herring, inland ridge and coast

Meet and park at Chaldon Herring village green, go through the gate to the left of the bus shelter and park in the field. If wet, the gate may be locked. If so, park by the green or along adjacent roads.
Outstanding panoramic views both inland and coastal. Walk is hilly, and occasionally steep. Bring packed lunch, water, and we'll take a couple of breaks. Nearby Sailors Return pub is an excellent venue for post walk refreshments. Great food.
