The DORSETSHIRE GAP

Park in road near The Fox Inn at Lower Ansty. Walk leader is lunching at The Fox after the walk and would welcome the company of anyone who wants to join her for lunch or just a drink -
www.foxinnansty.co.uk  If you plan to do so, the pub is happy for you to park alongside the road hedge inside their overflow car park opposite the pub.

Walk via Melcombe Park Farm to the Dorsetshire Gap and on to Cross Dyke for short break. Return via Higher Melcombe passing the site of the medieval village of Melcombe Horsey. A hilly walk with far reaching views. Half a dozen stiles and some rough ground. A short section slippy when wet. Stick recommended.

I am not asking for bookings but I would appreciate it if you could ring or email me if you intend to stay for lunch so I can let the pub have a rough idea of numbers. Also, I will try to organise car sharing if people want to.
