Park in National Trust car park by Bankes Arms in Studland (free for NT members). Walk via Glebeland Estate, Ballard Down and back via Handfast Point (Old Harry). One steepish climb.

West Lulworth to Durdle Door viewpoint and return

Park by Primary School, School Lane, West Lulworth. Walk from West Lulworth up a steep hill to Daggers Gate, then along ridge to viewing point overlooking Durdle Door. Back down to Lulworth Cove for a break and then back to School Lane.

Meet at Sika Trail car park (Bere Road) for a level walk around Wareham Forest and Morden Bog. Maybe some muddy patches.

Greenlands farm and Ower quay

Meet on Ferry Road at entrance to Greenlands Farm track. Limited parking so please car share. Circular walk via Ower Quay. No steep slopes or stiles. Mostly easy walking on forest tracks, but some muddy or marshy areas possible if recent rain.

Wareham to Corfe Castle linear walk

Meet at Wareham Quay. (Use no 40 bus, or park on Worgret Road or Stowell Cres - SY 918 871 - BH20 4PX - 5 min walk from start point). Walk begins by following the river to Ridge. Further on we cross Stoborough Heath, before going over the railway. We continue across Creech Heath and go into Furzebrook. Finally, a path leads to the bottom of the chalk ridge to Corfe.
Take no 40 bus back to Swanage or Wareham after the walk.

Worth & Dancing Ledge

Meet at Worth Matravers car park. Go towards Langton via Priests Way then descend to Dancing Ledge. Head west on coastal path to Winspit then head inland towards Worth. Great coastal views on this walk. Fairly steep descent down to Dancing Ledge and also ascents and descents along the coastal path and a gradual incline as you head inland from Winspit. Leader will head to Square and Compass following walk. Everyone is welcome to join him.

Knitson to dancing ledge

Meet with parking available in our yard at Dairy Cottage for 10 cars. Walk to Wilkswood Farm after crossing A351. Up through Langton Matravers and on towards Dancing Ledge, for a break. Head east along coastal path then inland to Putlake Farm. Back across Valley Road, and up Piggy Lane and Windmill Knap, to return to Knitson Farm. Gentle climbs and stiles. All welcome to come back for a cuppa and cake. Long hill up to Langton and back to Knitson, and stiles.

Meet at car park next to Manor Farm Road in Bere Regis. Circular walk via Turners Puddle, Piddle Wood, Jubilee Trail and Shitterton. No serious climbs on a walk through woodland & rolling countryside. Likely to be muddy in patches.

SWANAGE AND DURLSTON CIRCULAR WALK

Meet at entrance to Swanage pier. Possibility of free parking in Northbrook Road and some adjoining minor roads. Follow coastal path to Durlston. Snack break to be taken at Durlston. Continue to the lighthouse on Anvil Point. Head inland, taking a straight path back to Swanage. A few slopes to negotiate, but none too steep. Excellent views.
