Park at Kingfisher Barn Car Park, Granby Road, Muscliff, Bournemouth. A flat walk via Throop Mill on either side of the River Stour. Includes about 12 minutes alongside a busy A road, necessary to cross river.

Chickerell, The Fleet and Langton Herring

Meet at Holy Trinity church on Fleet Road (1 mile from junction with B3157 at Chickerell). Park in churchyard beyond church on gravel or on grass up to far end gate (permission given). Parking charge £1 per car, please car share. Mostly level circular walk, including along edge of The Fleet, the Old and New Holy Trinity churches. A few stiles and some road walking. Spectacular views of the Chesil Bank and along the Fleet.

SANDBANKS TO DURLEY CHINE RETURN

Bus from Swanage (no 50) or Poole (no 60 - please advise walk leaders if coming on this bus so we can wait for arrival at 17:02). Meet at exit of Sandbanks Shore Road CP opposite North Haven yacht club (car park is expensive!). Alternative parking at NT Shell Bay, then ferry as foot passenger to walk to Shore Road CP for start of walk.
Walk along Banks road to Shore Road along harbour side. Then turn onto beach promenade at Shore Road and walk along promenade to Durley Chine. Take a picnic or eat at Harvester. Menu is on their website. Walk back via harbour to enjoy sunset. Flat easy walking. Return by bus.

Sink Hole Walk

Park and start from Alfpuddle car park. Another easy flatish walk on wide paths over open heathland. There are around 50 sink (or ‘shake’) holes to be seen in the area. The walk may be shortened to 4 miles by those needing to do so. Note - the car park is 1KM west of the Cul-peppers Dish car park.

Park in National Trust car park by Bankes Arms in Studland (free for NT members). Walk via Glebeland Estate, Ballard Down and back via Handfast Point. One steepish climb up from Studland to Ballard Down. Option to join me after the walk for a drink/snack.

SHAPWICK AND WHITE MILL, RIVER STOUR

Meet in Shapwick Church car park. Follow along River Stour Valley Way to White Mill. Return via edge of Kingston Lacy Estate, Sweetbriar Drove and Park Lane. A relatively flat walk with good views. Parts can be muddy after rain. Several low squeeze thru stiles. Stour Valley Way path adjacent to the river is a No Dogs permissive path (Maybe because of the Swans)

Hill forts and the Stour - long views

Park at the Trailway car park (DT11 0QZ, ST 822 119).
Meet at, and start the walk from Shillingstone station (DT11 0SA, ST 823 117).
Note it is approximately a 5 minute walk from the Car Park to the Station.

Walking from Shillingstone station to Child Okeford and up and over Hambledon and Hod Hills to Stourpaine, returning on the Trailway to the station (cafe). Two very steep ascents and descents. Maybe wet on Stour crossing. Two low stiles. Stick recommended.

No toilets on route, except at start and end of walk at Shillingstone Station.

Meet at main entrance to Weymouth College, Cranford Avenue By Roundabout. Park considerately in nearby roads. Bring packed lunch for circular walk, starting on Weymouth sea front taking in Greenhill Gardens, Nothe Gardens, Sandsfoot Gardens (lunch stop with café), Rodwell trail and Radipole Bird Reserve.
