Langton Matravers and Seacombe

Meet at Spyway car park Langton Matravers (National Trust parking charges apply £2 or free for members). Go south to Dancing Ledge then West along coastal path to Seacombe. From Seacombe go inland to Eastington and then east along Priests Way back to Langton. Great sea views on the walk. Fairly steep ascent from Seacombe towards Eastington.

Meet and start from Stroud Bridge CP. A flat meandering walk around Lower Hyde, Phillois, Bere and Bloxworth Heaths to Worbarrow Fort. A mixture of gravel tracks and some sloshy sections.

Bus no 50 leaving Swanage station at 9.25am to Bournemouth Square (Gervis Place). Leaders will meet walkers at the bus stop in Bournemouth. Circular walk via Meyrick Park, Pug’s Hole and Talbot Heath, followed by a break at Coy Pond and return through Upper Gardens. Expect mud and one stile. Walking boots recommended.

DURLSTON CIRCULAR FOLLOWED BY BUFFET PARTY
AT BRITISH LEGION


Meet outside Swanage British Legion. Walk via Townsend Road to Anvil Point Lighthouse. Back along coastal path via Isle of Wight Road towards Swanage Pier and then back to British Legion. Tea stop at Durlston Castle. One stile and a couple of short uneven paths.

13:30 Free buffet birthday party at British Legion. Numbers limited for party so please book by Friday 2 February.

BLOXWORTH, WHITEFIELD & WEST MORDEN  -  SNOWDROP WALK

Park in Bloxworth Village Hall CP on right before church (please park end on to hedge on left towards back of car park, away from the road). Walk via Woodlake, East Bloxworth, to Whitefield. Return via West Morden and Morden Lane. Gentle walk (a/d350ft) over pasture and woodland. Several stiles. Hope to see lots of Snowdrops. Please car share to minimise number of cars.

Small donation of £1 per car to Bloxworth village hall to be collected.

Swanage to Branksome Chine

Meet at Ballard Stores then follow South West Coast path to Branksome Chine. Some rocks at Studland beach and Sandbanks where there is also a short easy ladder. You can join walk at 11:00 at Knoll Beach NT car park and at 12:00 at Shell Bay NT car park. Bring a picnic lunch. Return at 14:03 or the 15:03 no 50 bus from Branksome Chine.

Park at Sunnyside Farm car park on South side of Stoborough to Arne road beyond Ridge. Walk along old tramway to Imerys Clay Works at Furzebrook. Thence via Creech and Stoborough Heaths to Stoborough village. Then follow Melancholy Lane to New Lane and return to car park.
