The following is a list of emergency and indeed non-emergency phone numbers, which it might be useful for all walk leaders and others to keep in their address books or to preload into their mobile phones. The numbers of some local taxi firms have been included in case a member is taken ill or becomes injured on a walk and is unable to continue on foot and needs a lift back to their car or nearest town.

In an emergency, obviously telephone 999.
